I love ordering things online. In the past 3 days I have ordered a new printer/copier/scanner from Walmart.com, replacement parts for Easton's high chair from Fisher Price.com, and a camcorder from amazon.com. We can't wait to get a new printer! Ours died and we need it to print out some stuff so we can get our taxes done.
As for the high chair parts...Easton's high chair didn't come with the straps to buckle him in! I went online to see if we could order them and sure enough...you can. I probably could have called them and asked them to send me some for free since they didn't come with the high chair when we got it but since we didn't have the receipt I wasn't sure if that would work. It was less than 7 bucks and much less hassle to just order it.
And thanks to my parents, we were finally able to order the camcorder we wanted. (THANK YOU! Love you both.) Can't wait to get it and start recording better quality videos of my little stinker. He is so funny these days! Yesterday he discovered he can screech. He wasn't crying or fussing...just making cute, happy baby screeching noises. He kept himself awake when he should have been taking naps yesterday. At bedtime he was so tired it took about an hour of him screaming before he finally wore himself out enough to go to sleep. Thankfully today he's back to taking naps like a champ. Will post a new video as soon as I get my camcorder and have a chance to figure it out.

We can't wait to introduce everyone we know in Oklahoma to Easton. You've "met" him here but trust me...he's even cuter in person! :)

Snowing again?! YUCK! I hate snow and cold weather. But it does seem to get me in a baking sort of mind. I baked a loaf of white bread this morning and am about to finish cleaning the kitchen and make my hubby some chocolate chip cookies. Maybe we'll have some vegetable stew for dinner tonight. Something about a snowy day begs for a pot of something warm and bubbly on the stove.
I have been taking a lot of pictures of Easton lately. I take several a day so I have quite a few. Today we had a little baby fashion show. I took pictures of him in his MMM...Boobies! shirt and hat, his cozy white bathrobe and his cute blue and white plaid boxers. Then I decided I'd put him through enough torture and put him in his jammies and put him down for a nap. Hey, everyone wants to take a nap and stay in their jammies on a day like today, right? I know I sure do! Here are a few of my favorite pictures of Easton. (Though if you've seen my Kodak Gallery pictures, you've already seen these.)
Keep warm today!

It's been a while but here's the lowdown on our Valentine's Day...finally.
Here's a picture of our "fiestive" Valentine's Day breakfast.
Yes, those really are heart-shaped fried eggs. And the toast really does say I Love You. Ever seen a toast stamp? I specially ordered one for Valentine's Day. And I thought Easton might think it was cute when he gets old enough to read. Or he might just think his mama's a big ole nerd but that's OK too. At leat he'll know I care about him enough to make him stamped toast. haha :)
The mug I made and personalized for Jason.
The inside of the mug had a cool, hypnotic pattern on it so I decided to be funny and write on the inside "Yes dear. OK honey. Whatever you want." hehe. Can't blame a girl for trying, right? Excuse the messy handwriting. It is HARD to write on the inside of a mug!!!
And here's a cute picture of one of my sweeties in his Valentine's Day outfit.
And another of him in a different outfit making a funny face. :) What a cutie!
We had a nice Valentine's Day. After breakfast, Jason went to work and mommy and Easton got busy making daddy a card for Valentine's Day. He had fun when I painted his feet w/the red paint. He moved his toes around like "Hey, mom. That tickles!" It was pretty cute. And surprisingly enough we got the footprints on the first try and didn't even get paint everywhere. An amazing feat because my eyes were still VERY dilated from those drops. Oh yeah. About that...ONE DROP of those eyedrops lasted for four and a half days! I called the dr to see if this was supposed to happen and he said yes but if it interferred with my daily activities I could cut it down to only using it once a week. That's good, but having dilated eyes for 4 and half days?! YUCK!
Anyway, here's the front of the card.
And here's the inside. Pretty simple since I was having trouble seeing AND I didn't really plan on making this card so just had to use the supplies I had on hand.
After Jason came home from work, we had Tuscan meatballs with spaghetti, bruschetta, and for dessert we had a chocolate cream cheese pie. It was great. Jason got me a card, some champagne and chocolates and a really pretty frame that says LOVE. We had a really nice night.
P.S. Anybody know what kind of adhesive to use on vellum that won't show through? The glue I had said it dried clear but it sure did not! The only other thing I have is the little adhesive squares but they are white and would DEFINATELY show through. Any ideas? Jenni, I bet you know. :)

OK, now this is a long video but it's my blog and I can put whatever I want on here, right? Here's a video of Easton having tummy time today.

I REALLY love this seat.
Bebe Pod Plus
I haven't been able to find this one cheaper than about $60. I tried Ebay hoping for a deal but no luck so far. I know there are cheaper versions out there but I love this one. I'm not usually one that just HAS to have name brand or expensive things but I totally love this and don't find many products I feel that strongly about. And yes, I know it is silly but mostly I just love that the tray is a watermelon. Crazy, I know but it is so cute!
We probably won't get it because of the cost, but I do like the idea that the seat comes with a try and a toy. Seems like it would be pretty fun for Easton. Or maybe I'm just looking to find a way to justify spending so much on a baby seat that he will grow out of before long. But they do say it is for up to 12 months. Anybody have an opinon on this seat?
Before I start, let me just say that there is a HUGE possiblity there will be typos in this next post...I'm having a lot of trouble seeing and for some reason blogger's spell check won't work. I had an eye appt on Monday. Just a check up but I knew my eyes were getting bad again. I didn't have too much problem w/the uveitis when I was pregnant w/Easton. Maybe God decided to give me a break for a while and for that I am VERY grateful! :) But while I was still in the hospital recovering, the blurriness came back. WEIRD! The retina specialist I am seeing (Dr. Wehner. Pronounced WAY-ner) started me on steroid eye drops 6-8 times a day and also gave me a prescription for a new kind of drops too. I've been on the steroids before. (Wow, THAT sounds weird to write.) They kind of burn when you put them in. Not like getting shampoo in your eye burns but maybe a little like chopping onions burns your eyes. Anyway, I've neglected to do this as often as I should in the past because it is ridiculously hard to keep your eye open to put eye drops in when you know it is going to burn. I'm doing much better with the drops this time though. The new prescription he gave me is awful! I use it 2 times a week at bedtime and I am so happy it is not more often. This new eye drop dilates my eyes and leaves me looking like I'm on drugs. I'm talking about seriously freaky looking eyes and blurred vision like you cannot imagine. Well, maybe you can imagine. You've probably had your eyes dilated at the eye doctor before. But these are super duper magic-dilating drops. I put them in at 10:30 Tuesday night and my eyes are STILL not back to normal! 38 hours and counting. This is awful! And did you know that using the computer when your eyes are dilated makes for a crazy, possibly seizure-inducing flashing computer screen? It is no fun.
I told myself that I'd use these drops on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help me remember to use them. That means from Tuesday to probably Saturday some time I'll have dilated eyes and won't be able to see much. Well I can see but I can't be on the computer, read, watch TV or anything that requires me to wear my glasses. What's left? I can cook. Boy have I been cooking a lot these last few days. :)
And during the eye exam, Dr. Wehner told me I have the beginnings of a very small cataract on my right eye. WHAT?!! How many people do you know who have cataracts before they're 30?! He said not to worry because it is tiny and won't need attention for a very long time but holy crap that scares me! I'm making sure to take my eye drops this time because the alternate treatment is a shot in my eye. Yes, you read that right. A SHOT. IN. MY. EYE! Lord, please do not let me have to have that again!! I've done it once and it was terrible! They had to give me a Valium to calm me down enough so that I could go through with it. GROSS!!!!
Glad I didn't have to go to work and try to focus on anything today. But enough about weird eye stuff. Let's talk about Valentine's Day. This morning I got up and made Jason breakfast for Valentine's Day. I took pictures and everything because it was truly a "fiestive" breakfast. (For those of you who don't know, that is a word one of my former co-workers used to use quite frequently when she meant festive. Boy she was a character.) Pictures and more about Valentine's Day tomorrow. Have a happy one!
Oh yeah! Thankfully so far I have had no broken bones this Valentine's Day. Better knock on wood, the day's not over yet. :) Don't know what I'm talking about? Check out my blog entry from this time last year.

I used the video feature on my camera to record Easton saying hello. I did it twice. This is the short version. If you want the one that's WAY longer, email me. Just thought I'd put the shorter version on here because the longer one is like a minute and a half of him just laying there trying to talk. It's cute but it is a pretty long video.
YAY! I'm finally done w/my class! And here's the certificate to prove it. Like how I PhotoShopped my name? :)

This is TOO CUTE!! :)
I laughed out loud every single time I watched it. Must be the accent.

What a night we had last night! In honor of Mardi Gras and since yesterday was Fat Tuesday, I made cajun chicken, red beans and rice, hurricanes and Bananas Foster. Boy did I feel FAT after all that! We had a good time though. My friend Katy was here and she and Jason and I ate until we were stuffed and then watched We Are Marshall. Well, I should say that Easton and I watched We Are Marshall. Jason and Katy fell asleep after all that food. I guess they did have to get up earlier than I did since they had to work yesterday. :) Now that Easton is sleeping longer stretches at a time I am getting much more done during the day. Monday I made BBQ sandwiches w/homemade BBQ sauce and bread from my bread machine. It is nice to be able to cook again. Easton usually takes a nap around 4 or so and that's nice because that's usually when I start thinking about what to cook for dinner. Maybe one of these days I'll actually get back to doing some craft projects. This blog is called "Crafty Little Devil" because I used to be a pretty crafty person and wanted to show off some of the projects I was working on. Well, that was almost 4 years ago and I can't tell you the last craft project I did. I have lots of unfinished projects lying around that I really need to finish. And sooner or later I should probably start Easton's scrapbook instead of just talking about it. :)
