I found this post at one of my favorite blogs Good, True and Beautiful.
It absolutely, positively, perfectly sums up how I feel about being a stay at home mom. Sure wish I could write as well as Sharon!

Another good one! I have those days to where I feel like I think I would love to be in the working world again, but then I know in my heart I would have missed so much...I thank God that He has blessed us enough to be able for me to stay at home with them for all the precious moments and what the heck, even the times where they fuss and fight;). I worked for 5 years after Tyler turned 2 so I know both sides of the fence of being a working mom and stay at home. When I worked I was always second guessing that too because I felt like I should be home with him, but he loved his daycare and I knew he was well taken care of. It's a little easier to do that with just one child too. The grass always looks greener on the other side sometimes, but I know that when I look back on my life one day these memories will be a trillion times better than what any paycheck could give me.

Aw shucks. Thanks Amy! it's been neat to see how much that post resonated with people... I think us ladies are in a wonderful conundrum - the talents we use as mommies would get us paid in the "real world" too. But not as much as we are getting "paid" by the profits of our children!!

Great to meet you Amy.
