Nothing really exciting to blog about these days. Just the same old everyday stuff around here lately. And you know what? That is perfectly fine with me. Today I plan to do a load of dishes, wash some laundry, fold some teeny tiny, cute little baby girl clothes and go for a walk with Easton. And that's it. Oh and I might read a book or two to my "boop" lovin' little man. When I said we're just hanging out these days and waiting til Audrey gets here, I meant it. We're just counting down the days until she comes and looking forward to meeting this newest member of our little family.

Well, one exciting thing to share...let me show you the pictures my friend Katy took. You wanted some belly pictures? You sure got them now! Know what I learned from this photo shoot? Several things. First, taking pictures in a yellow room does nothing good for my complexion. And second, I REALLY dislike having my picture taken. I just feel so silly and stiff and self-conscious. I usually look drunk, really uncomfortable or am blinking in most pictures so I am just not a huge fan of being the subject.
Anyway, here are some of my favorites from the Mother's Day photo shoot.

LOVE the one of you by the window! Those are not bad pictures girl! The room is super cute and I love your shirt!!

Good idea to hang low and spend one on one time w/ Easton...pretty soon that won't be an option...it'll never be just you and him all day so to make the decision to savor these days is so wise...a truely special time in your lives!!

Wow, I love the pictures! Good job and thanks to Katy. You are a beautiful family. Easton has grown up and changed so much since I visited. Can't wait to see you all very soon! I agree, savor these sweet days while it is just you and your firstborn and he gets your undivided attention- precious days for both of you. Love you, sweet girl. Mom

Oh, I thought you liked them. Sorry. I think you're much more photogenic than you give yourself credit for.

Katy,
I LOVE them! Sorry if I let you think otherwise. I was tired when I posted that and rereading it, it didn't sound like I was too happy. I'm so sorry! No way, girl...those pictures were some of the best I've had taken in a LONG time! And I really had a fun time getting them done too, which is something I usually can NOT say. You did a great job! And to think...you were worried about them being out of focus. Nope! Good work, my friend!
