The Whatever-You-Have-in-the-Fridge Quiche
1 unbaked pie crust
2 cups milk
4 eggs
1 cup grated cheese (or more if you like it really cheesy)
precooked meat, chopped
veggies, chopped
Preheat oven to 400. Follow directions on pie crust box. If no directions, prick the pie crust sides and bottom with fork and bake for 10 minutes. Lower oven to 350.Put desired filling (meat and cheese) into bottom of pie crust. In a small bowl, mix eggs and milk. Pour over topping. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. (Clear moisture is ok...just make sure your eggs are cooked through.)
My favorite combos are: ham and mushroom, chicken and broccoli, bacon and tomato, ham and spinach. Anything goes.
