Sausage and Mushroom Ziti with Garlic Parmesan Sauce

1 lb box ziti noodles
19.5oz pkg sweet (or hot) turkey Italian sausage
8oz sliced mushrooms
1 cup skim milk
3-4 tbsp light margarine
8 oz light cream cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp salt (more or less to taste)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cook ziti until al dente. Cut sausage into bite-sized pieces and brown. In a small pan, combine milk, cubed cream cheese, margarine, and seasonings. Stir until smooth. Stir in grated parmesan cheese and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until well blended. Pour pasta into large bowl. Top with mushrooms, sausage and sauce and stir until everything is covered. Top with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
